LUKAS K

Lukas, 18, lives in Martin, a central Slovakian town. He is in his last year in high school and next year he plans to join the military. He doesn’t often smile in the photographs and tries to project a tough boy look, but he actually smiles a lot and I think he’s one of the sweetest, friendliest guys I have photographed.

The first outdoor photo shoot was at a farm field near Martin. I  arrived on the previous evening and met up with Lukas (for the first time in person) and we went to a really hip shisha (waterpipe / hookah) bar. We hung out for a couple of hours and got to know each other. This is when I noticed the adorable smiles and realized what a beautiful and sincere person Lukas is. Lukas N and Andrew (friends of Lukas K) were also there, along with many other gorgeous men.
